I had this argument at CVS - they had a sign that said it was NYS law. I entered without a mask and when stopped explained that an EO was not a "law". They changed the sign the next day to make it "store policy".
I can't buy groceries without a mask. It seems there are no exceptions for ADA; people with allergies, for example, have to huff and puff and try to get in an out as fast as possible.
People seem to have wholly bought into the fear porn, and anytime I say "look at the data" I get rote, CNN-approved responses.
When did people become so willing to follow orders without question?
Weirdly, we were told weeks ago not to wear a mask. If you point it out to liberals they say, "Well, they did not want people hoarding masks because healthcare workers needed them." Oh, so we were lied to and told masked don't work? The CDC was lying? Or are they lying now and telling us they do work? Strange.
And weeks ago we were told Covid lives on surfaces for days. Now, we are told something else. This whole thing is a bunch of blow with the wind bullshit.
