He's been wrongly defining what it means to be a black American for years. In this statement he made in 2007, he sure seems to say that then candidate Barack Obama wasn't what he thinks is your typical African-American:

"I mean, you got the first mainstream African-American who is articulate and bright and clean and a nice-looking guy. I mean, that's a storybook, man."
