Numerically their military isn’t a concern, our infantry are worth multiples of theirs. Vehicles, ships and aircraft are crap. Their ships aren’t even blue water worthy, they have to stay close to shore in relative terms.
Nuclear warheads are it. Our missile interception tech is only good for the 1 stage launch, before the ICBM reaches orbit. Even then it’s more like 50:50 for chances. Missiles are small as hell and fast as hell, hitting them with any degree of reliability is difficult.
