We jumped the shark official when we renamed Stark St. after a gay city councilman (Harvey Milk) who may or may not have ever visited Portland but certainly had no strong connection. He was also an asshole and others were killed that day too (Willie Brown hid in a janitor's closet).

We can't even virtue signal correctly! Name it after Gus Van Sant or many other local gays who have actually done something of merit connected to our city. Or better yet, don't virtue signal cuz it's dumb.
