And if no lockdowns were needed, then certainly no "phases of reopening" are needed.
Now that the Blue State Governor’s have the power they will not back down. Trump needs to come out with an address to the nation and say every state can open up. No more phases. Get back to work. Then I think all small businesses and the people will reopen and tell their state government to stuff it. People have had enough of this.
POTUS has (wisely) gone with the current and subverted the opposition instead of trying to fight incessant fear-mongering with logic. He can't just do a 180 turn now.
It is lunacy, and I am sick of it too, but the game plan is kind of like an enema. We gotta hold it in a little longer if it's going to flush all the real bad stuff out.

Stay patient. The tides take time to turn and losing patience leads to losing the election. Trust that the timing and political calculations are being considered - has this man let us down in any major ways yet?
The red pilled on the pandemic are a minority. He has to okay both sides or the ones jn the middle will think hes off his rocker when otherwise they are nostly fine with him
