They are like that everywhere. Like the gym owner said, there are 10% bad in the military and law enforcement. The officer who is harassing him was probably a bad Marine, a poor leader, who is now a bad officer.
I mean...how many times are you having to interact with them? Lol.
Usually my interactions have been fine where I live. Got stopped at a random checkpoint one time cop let me go and I was driving uninsured just told me to get my insurance fixed.
I ended up getting thrown in a drunk tank one night because...shit happens whatever. The entire ride I was chitchatting with the cop about trump. He let me smoke a cigarette before he took me in (which was probably a terrible idea on his part and completely against protocol but still).
There are some good ones, although I’ve encountered dicks I’ve encountered more good ones than bad.
Small town of less than 3,000 gets harassed by tyrannical power drunk cops... Corona has been eye opening. Go to a local Lowe's and shake your head at the crowds... which I don't mind.. but if they can open then small gyms like yours should be able to open.
Short man syndrome on a power trip. This guy was huge compared to that dude. He has his 5 minutes of power and they are taking full advantage of this. "I don't want to trade one tyrant 3000 miles away for 3000 tyrants one mile away". This is why we have a bill of rights.
We’ve made it to easy to become a cop. Dumbasses looking for a power trip are qualifying. Need stringent background checks and thorough mental examinations to meet standards in addition to actually know the law.
This guy needs to file a complaint with the onslow county sheriff and see what can be done. It’s my understanding that the Sheriff cannot give orders to a police Chief, but is sworn to uphold the constitution and state constitution; so potentially could help.
He also needs to file a complaint with the fbi and doj for this chief being against the color of law.

This video breaks my heart. You can just tell he is genuinely such a good person and it's so messed up he is being treated this way for absolutely no reason. Like this is what this country is really coming to.

Makes it easier to understand how the German people so quickly got controlled by their own government.
Take pictures of the cops. Get badge numbers. Repeat.
Police Chief needs a tall glass of Sydney Powell. I'll donate.
I don't understand this thread title, it was never about public health, not even for a second.

Just doing my job, following orders.

Its time to institute some Reps For Jesus worship programs at these gyms. Pray to the Swoley spirit.
