That's not actually anything new. It says "new packs" but they used to have 8-packs of skin tones. Now, there's nothing wrong per se with having a pack of skin-toned crayons. When you were a kid, what did you do to represent your own skin tone? Pink? Leave it white? Did you find your pictures had more black people in them simply because you had a brown crayon? Eight crayons can do the job admirably.
Now here's the thing. You have 32 skin-coloured crayons. How many is a kid actually going to USE? The one that represents him and his family... maybe one for his best friend...annnnnnd he'll have 30 unused crayons.
I don't get it? How is this clown-world? I would have loved to have all these different colors as a kid, including all the different blush tones to highlight cheeks and whatnot.
Even growing up in the super-white midwest I still had plenty of friends with different skin tones than mine.
I generally like your post and comment history, but you might want to check yourself on this one.
I don't see orange in there. Racists!

To be fair, how many of the 62 pack did you ever use? π
You mean the 64 crayon pack? A lot of them. Actually I'm pretty sure I'd end up using all of them.
Wow. There were always some (donβt remember which) that I almost never used
I could have sworn skin tone colored crayons were a thing back when I was in school, though.
I am looking for my color - "White Anglo Saxon Protestant Christian Heterosexual Male from the South Aryan Redhead"
