That's not actually anything new. It says "new packs" but they used to have 8-packs of skin tones. Now, there's nothing wrong per se with having a pack of skin-toned crayons. When you were a kid, what did you do to represent your own skin tone? Pink? Leave it white? Did you find your pictures had more black people in them simply because you had a brown crayon? Eight crayons can do the job admirably.
Now here's the thing. You have 32 skin-coloured crayons. How many is a kid actually going to USE? The one that represents him and his family... maybe one for his best friend...annnnnnd he'll have 30 unused crayons.

You mean the 64 crayon pack? A lot of them. Actually I'm pretty sure I'd end up using all of them.
