The way he throws around the phrase 'cannot discuss classified information' in this context tells me that politicians just use that to hide behind even though it's irrelevant to the guy's question. The guy clearly didn't ask him about any specific information or even general information (policy, methods) but Obama uses the crutch 'cannot discuss classified information' to side step the whole question.
