So easy to compare countries that have 2M people with America and say our systems are shit.

Some states DO have free health care for low income people and have balanced budgets. They are able to manage their money and provide that.

Others are unable to do so because they have mismanaged their funds. Any state should be able to provide low income and those truly in need with essential healthcare and services under the assumption that those who receive it are willing and able to, but cannot for whatever reason.

We already give these services to the disabled and we can do the same with low income people as well. We just can't do it all at once on a federal level. Socialism at a fededal level in order to centralize and take over healthcare is a pipe dream.

We can afford state-by-state budget surplus going back to citizens who are in need of these services and unable to provide for themselves though, due to medical conditions or other things beyond their control. Just not federally mandated. Kentucky don't wanna pay for California's heroin addicts.
