Was born in England, have lived there, loved it. last trip there was 2007 or 08. It was changing and not for the better and I lost interest in the place. When I briefly had social media about 2014-15 it confirmed my decision to not go back. Never looked back.
I lived in France in the 90s and it was fantastic. Went back 3 years ago and wish l hadnt because it wrecked my fond memories of the country.
I visited England my first and only time in early 2013, it was enjoyable, but then again I didn't have any prior English experience to compare it to. Sadly I don't see myself visiting again for years with how bad it's gotten.
At the moment the number of countries I'd be willing to visit has dwindled, and I've only been to a few (Canada, UK, Japan) so it's disappointing I can't see more.
Taiwan, South Korea, Poland, Slovakia, Hungary, Czechoslovakia, Slovenia, Ukraine, Russia, and India are the only ones I'd feel comfortable visiting.
