If a democrat were to win, they'd probably do a very strict lockdown for a month or two (to justify their screeching the past few months). But then they'd start opening stuff, pretending like it was due to the lockdown that things were improving. And there would be nothing but reports of dropping cases and falling death rates and and empty hospitals (previously ignored). And they'd say if Trump had did all of that from the get go, we woulda been better off.

It would be like running to the basement and hiding there for days while the tornado has clearly passed.
