they will just shred the R ones, document it then report it, turn them into the police station so there is a record and send the info to local media and anyone else you can think of
In many cases the Republican ballots are subtly different in appearance and get shredded as you mentioned. However, dem ballots with Republican votes can get through.
Election tampering should be an executable offence... in my opinion.

Even if they do shred them. Thats 2 less they can use as 'vote' for them.
