Having a degree in economics and statistics, I argued this was all bullshit back in early March. I got into fights with people I care about over it. Today, every one of them has apologized to me.
Yeah I argued it on this board with basically every post. Very few actually argued in favor of models and such.
Pointed out early on that all of their models allocated ventilators and hospital beds only once, even though the use of either is temporary. Could not find anything that accounted for inventory replenishment. So of course the estimates would fraudulently high.
But the greatest fraud is the over statement of deaths from Wuhan. Even Dr. Birx suggested it may be 30% overstated.
No apologies to me yet. Family, acquaintances, to a person say I'm some heartless SOB that just wants people to die. Wear the mask! It's a disaster out there! Shut up, stay home, stay safe!
I post article after study after review, all pointing out these flaws, the inconsistencies, all of it. But the only response is "but they tell us to wear the mask. Wear the mask to show you care! It may help a little, so you have to!"
damn, we should probably make a website look all official like, lifting many scholarly articles, and then add 1 that says that receiving blow jobs reduce the chance of infection in men, and strangely giving them reduces the infection rate among women too. Needs to be repeated daily for optimal effect, at least until the pandemic is over.
