JFC, new york, michigan etc, we know that at least in new york there was a TON of available hospital space in the center, on the ship etc, and im almost 100% sure that michigan also has available hospital space.

from day one we have known that the elderly are more vulnerable to the disease. so why put exactly those people at risk?! this is fucking retarded and people should be sued or receive jailtime. as many of the deaths and infections are happening at said nursing homes. wtf, for real.

fuck these people, especially with all the other field hospitals and facilities that have been made or brought in.

or, make one hospital the "covid only" hospital (or vice versa) so that patients can be separated.

Hurr Durr Trump told everyone to drink bleach. Democrats actually sending infected people to nursing homes, however, is totally genius.

Because they have no use for old conservative voters or babies that can’t vote.

Nursing homes are modern day gas chambers.

If only there were alternative places to send them such as quickly deployed and constructed field hospitals....

Nursing homes have contracts (either formally, or with a little palm greasing between the nursing home and the discharge planner) with hospitals to fill up their beds, which they can charge medicare (AKA we the taxpayers) 15,000$ a month for. So in normal times a senior falls and gets hurt, gets treated at the hospital on Medicare (Taxpayer $$$), then gets discharged to a Nursing Home on medicare (Taxpayer $$$).

This works great for the hospitals and the nursing homes until shit hits the fan and they realize they haven't had an original thought in a decade. Add to that that nurses are heavily unionized and you get a group of people who can't think on their feet or try to figure something else out.

Sending people with Covid back to nursing homes isn't a new policy, it's just highlighting how it's always worked, and the fact that nobody can put two and two together and think for themselves.

Except it was a new policy. Governors and state health boards worked together when COVID was identified, and specifically determined that COVID patients should go back to nursing homes. Keep in mind, hospitals were empty at the time.

That's totally valid, I'm just trying to explain that hospitals discharge into nursing homes by default. Why someone would force them to bring in Covid patients is beyond me.

To kill off the most people so they (corrupt blue states) can get fed funds and get bailed out!

It's a lot easier to understand if you assume malicious intent.
