Yesterday I went on a hike in CT. Not one person wearing a mask. People said hi to each other, talked bout the nice weather, other hiking areas, etc. It was like it was a normal day, except for the missing picnic tables the state removed for my safety.

It was to see that once again, someone had ripped down all the "social distancing" signs they put up in the parking area, observation areas, etc.

God forbid that some outlaw might want to sit down. Seriously tho, do these gov workers not understand they they are NOT responsible for our decisions?

The dumbest part about that is they were all set up to overlook the scenic views. Now everyone crowds the one observation tower. So much for "social distancing."

A random heterosexual encounter with no condom is very unlikely to transmit HIV. Every is free to take risks if they believe the reward is greater than the cost.

I know an ICU nurse that had a dozen coworkers in another unit catch covid because a patient tested negative when they actually had covid. Those nurses were wearing PPE the hospital said was sufficient. This virus is definitely very infectious and there is no vaccine.

Everyone gets to be a grown up and make their own decisions about risk/reward. Part of that requires sorting through a bunch of information that may be incorrect, misstated, or outright lies.
