Boomers started in low entry jobs with low entry requirements. Once they got into management/administration jobs, they shipped previous jobs oversees, flooded the market with illegal labor, and set up ridiculous requirements for the remaining jobs. Whether it was to smite other generations or line their pockets, they have screwed over at least 3 generations.
