We're going back to feudal times, where for almost a thousand years, Europe was ruled by nobility and entire industries were controlled by guilds with an iron grip. This is what kept Europe stagnant for so long. If you wanted to build weapons from your own home, you had to get permission from your local blacksmith's guild, didn't matter if you had the knowledge, you needed permission or you were shut out of the market or imprisoned. If you wanted to make your own clothing, you'd have to go through the guild for that trade and get permission to do so after training and certification. Sound familiar? We are regressing BACK to that exact same model again after leaving it behind in 1776 advancing humanity 5000 years by simply giving people the right to be free and pursue their passions and talents. Having 100+ shoe makers, 100+ butchers in New York City was a relatively new phenomenon that was never allowed in medieval Europe.
