Viruses are attached to droplets, droplets that are far larger than the virus, & the cloth impairs the droplets passage through the material depending on the tightness of the weave. An AIDS virus is far smaller than the pores on a condom & if we used your reasoning, then condoms wouldn't stop transmission of AIDS. But condom's pores are smaller than the liquid they're suspended in, so the liquid with the virus can't get through.

There is NO evidence that cloth masks are effective. This hasn't changed, even though the CDC changed their recommendations. I realize the virus travels on particles. However, they are of varying sizes. Some may still pass through, others will simply go around the mask. These masks are a placebo to make the sheeple feel better. Condoms aren't 100% effective against stopping anything, includnig pregnancy.
