Well then if sneezing into your sleeve or hands (then washing them) is effective, there is absolutely no need for masks, right? Still, there is no scientific basis for mandating everyone wear a mask. Like I said earlier, why did it spread out of control in countries where mask usage is common practice?

South Korea is doing pretty damn well in relation to covid numbers and response. What's the difference between them and us [the USA]? Mask usage.

Yeah, I know you're Booleh. Thanks for admitting it.

Oh, and for the record, u/MakeLiberalsCryAgain is OP. God damn you're dumb.

spez: I know you didn't say it verbatim, but you all but pretty much admitted it with your dumbass statement. As well as your actions.

Other countries wear masks, too, yet they've experienced major outbreaks. Ever stop to think this is another reason South Korea is doing better? Like I said, there is NO CONVINCING SCIENTIFIC EVIDENCE that forcing the general public to wear masks will stop the spread. This thing will runs its course. Once it got loose into the wild thanks to those chinese fucks, there wasn't much we could do to stop it.

There state where I live is doing pretty damn well, too, and masks are NOT mandatory. Be a sheep, but don't try to force me to.

Sure, there's a lot of reason why South Korea could be doing better. There's a lot of reasons why Thailand is doing better, Japan and even CHYNUH. One thing they all share is wearing masks in crowded spaces. It doesn't hurt, and at worst you're mildly uncomfortable for 30 mins

NO CONVINCING SCIENTIFIC EVIDENCE that forcing the general public to wear masks will stop the spread.

https://masksnow.org/million-healthcare-workers-letter/ The literature for the studies that back up why all these health care workers agree wearing masks will help is contained in this link. I know you don't care though. You're 12, right? Beyond your reading comprehension

And for the record, I don't support nanny state making you wear a mask. You just should on your own accord, because it's not a lot to ask for and it's not a big deal.

Well, there was just a study that showed coughs went right through masks. Also, even if the mask did catch everything, the problem is, people are constantly touching them. This is a fact. Then it's on their hands, and they either touch their face and infect themselves or touch something else, and spread it that way.

It's a free country and I will not be forced to wear a mask. Fuck that. If you're scared to go out in public, then stay the fuck home.

Here's the solution: Don't touch your fucking face! Masks make people MUCH more likely to touch their faces. In not that hard to comprehend. Go put a plastic bag over your head for all I care =)
