Yeah, but these Dem governors panicked thinking hospitals would be overrun (they weren’t) and made the “hard choice” to send them back to the nursing homes to free up space. They knew what they were doing was reckless but it was for the “greater good”. Communist always justify their murder that way. They could have held them at the hospitals till the field hospitals were up and running, then isolate the infected elderly there. But instead sacrificed them on the word of Fauci et. al.

Logic has not stopped anyone from attacking Trump. They should be asking about this facility and why it wasn't ready in time. Doesn't matter whether it was logistically reasonable or feasible. No one extends that courtesy to the President. No one should extend it to Cuomo.
Also, this field hospital, and the USN hospital ships, were meant to be hospitals, and not long-term care facilities. The idea was to keep these facilities open for more critical-care patients, and not to have them filled up with people who were only a little sick, or who were recovering.
That said, they could have shuffled people around in Long Term Care facilities so that there were 2 kinds: COVID+ LTCs, and COVID- LTCs, and never the two shall meet.

They knew the nursing homes lacked PPE and didn't have the training and procedures to prevent spreading the virus. Cuomo even said he wasn't responsible for the nursing homes not being prepared.
