Mail in voting is like a final exam that is mailed to you at home and you complete it and mail it back in. There is no knowing who actually completed it. Then, if the teacher doesn't like you, they can just say that they never got your exam back or reject it and claim that it didn't look like your signature.

I've thought about this a lot and honestly, mail-in-ballots are such a weird concept. No state should have them and at most it should only apply to people that otherwise can't physically vote, like people with big enough disabilities that they can't get to the voting booths.
Any abled bodied person over the age of 18 should be capable of going to the polls and cast their vote IN PERSON in order to have it valid.

I've thought about this a lot and honestly, mail-in-ballots are such a weird concept. No state should have them and at most it should only apply to people that otherwise can't physically vote, like people with big enough disabilities that they can't get to the voting booths.
Any abled bodied person over the age of 18 should be capable of going to the polls and cast their vote IN PERSON in order to have it valid.
Why? Because else we get voter and election fraud.
I also think it was pretty dumb of the POTUS to cast his vote via mail, because me and him are both against mail-in-voting.

I agree. With one exception. Only mail in ballots should be overseas military or others living overseas with a valid pass port. All others must show up and bring a Federally valid picture ID and must be registered to vote … And present ID before voting… then after dip the finder in ink. And then get a sticker !!!
Absolutely agree with the troops and Americans abroad, but also believe that disabled people should be allowed to vote from their residential so we ensure elections where every American citizen can participate.
The more Americans that vote legally, the better. And as long as the lyin' Democrats can't get their dirty paws on any ballots, we should win by a landslide! Which is why they don't want voter ID. Which should be cheap and easily available with a valid, legal ID and social number. Basically, make the elections so that illegals can't vote and Democrats can't cheat, cause we know they will and the only way to preserve America and make it greater is to ensure fair elections that only allow Americans to vote (instead of letting every Juan and Pedro to vote illegally, or letting the DNC change a million votes)

I've seen lots of push-back against this mail scheme but people tend to miss the point, because we have been warning about those no-paper-trail touch screen voting disasters for over a decade now.

It is actually LOCAL POLL VOLUNTEERS AND WATCHERS in your community are the last defense of the voting Republic. These are prople in your community who volunteer to run polls and the locally-elected representatives of the Board Of Elections. These are the people who are going to spot anomolies and fraud. If the entire voting process is moved into a back room somewhere there is no limit to the trivial fuckery that may occur. Only by people coming to vote as individuals, with other trustworthy people watching them, can democracy survive and thrive.
Anything that makes the voting process opaque to Board of Elections trustees, poll volunteers and poll watchers is dangerous and stupid. Anything that takes the process out of these peoples' hands, so that they cannot even re-count, is an idea that should have been laughed out of the room.
Touch screen voting is a farce because no real re-count is possible.
Voting entirely by mail is a farce because the necessary front-end procedures to guard against duplicate, mis-handled and spurious ballots become impossible.

College kids from Boulder double-vote all the time, and political activists there turn in tons of ballots AFTER the election deadlines every single time, resulting in swings to democrat candidates. We have literal communist activists on the city council. Denver made over $1M from parking fines on a single city block surrounding the BANKRUPT Sports Authority stadium in 2018. The city judges crack down HARD on local latinos who drive without a license or get caught in a DUI, but if you are an ILLEGAL ALIEN they sneak you out the back door with no charges. Selling heroin for the Sinaloa cartel? Just claim indigency and that you don't speak English, and the courts will simply let you go, no bail.
