So for 12 ounces you need to calculate .042 alcohol per ounce. 12 x .042 = .504 ounces of alcohol per beer. Now consider 1 ounce of Jack at 80 proof or .40 per ounce. Lite beer is .104 more alcohol per beer than average shots.
I don't drink and shoot not only because it's dangerous, it also makes you a bad shot. However, I have my own range, so I can't honestly say I've never had a couple beers and lit off a few rounds.
