Why would anyone tell her to shut up? She doesn't represent today's Republican values in the slightest. If anything her, Kristol, and others highlight a great distinction between the old ways and the new ways.

Ms. Coulter is part of the "student council" or "model UN" crowd. All she wants is for her and her people to be in the seat of power. The best approach is to use her to get there, then dump her because she's total sleaze and you can't have that stink on you.
