PTSD..

The mask makes you feel smothered, like that time you had a traumatic event.

Ask for gay wedding cakes regardless of the store

Do it for the love of god. Please do it. Bring the lawyer to the store with you when you’re refused entry.

I'm using my wallet to protest. No shopping from me of any kind beyond the absolute bare essentials. I'm also saving money in preparation for my state's economic collapse anyways, so it's a win-win. As long as my state indefinitely mandates masks and social distancing as part of a never ending reopening phase, I have no interest in engaging in anything more right now. My only hope is enough people start pushing back en mass, otherwise we're never getting back to normal.

Go to a sympathetic Doctor first and "I have ta lot of trouble breathing" ...

A note/diagnosis from a doctor will serve well.

Also note: Illegal for vendor to ask about a medical condition.

So, now we're under ADA and HIPPA.

File more than a couple and get yourself tagged as a frivolous litigant. Then if you ever have a legitimate lawsuit you'll have that weight on you. Plus suing successfully =/= collecting any money.

This is true. Frivolous litigants become targets. Be careful pede

That's not entirely true-- there are health hazards associated with wearing a mask. It exacerbates certain pre-existing conditions. There is a potential discrimination suit based on ADA guidelines.

Incorrect. Under the ADA you can claim wearing a mask is hazardous to your health. Breaking the ADA is a slam dunk lawsuit win

That's not the way to fight it.

they are not obligated to serve you.

2
ColbyP 2 points ago +2 / -0

Incorrect. Refusing service based on something ADA protected is a slam dunk lawsuit win.

LugNuts -1 points ago +1 / -2

Rights do not obligate other people to do something for you. ADA laws protect the general disabled public, by installing ramps and push-button doors. If you are handicapped, they are still able to tell you to get the fuck out for any reason they want. Your logic is like a nude person in a wheelchair demanding service because they're disabled.

2
ColbyP 2 points ago +2 / -0

Incorrect. If you cannot wear a mask for medical reasons, they cannot refuse you service for not wearing one without violating ADA. Try again.

lemme see you get a naked dude in a wheelchair into a restaurant for service.

I have better things to do than pick a fight with my neighbors. In two weeks, we will know what kind of spike of infections we're going to get from opening up. If it turns out to be a nothing burger, people will just stop wearing masks of their own accord.

I hope pedes will do their part to make opening up a nothing burger. Do your five days of zinc + ionophore before going to any crowded event, and repeat it, if and when you feel something coming on. If you're not all good in 5 days, get tested, and if you test positive, insist on the Trump cocktail, ** before** you have to be hospitalized.

This will work, so we can work. Then, next season, we can stop the flu, the creeping crud, the common cold and the coronavirus in their tracks.
