Me not wearing mask makes ME a Karen? That is the opposite of what that meme means. YOU are the one calling me names (childish) because I won't wear a mask.

"No, i will not wear a mask for 30 mins while grocery shopping. Even if there's a chance I could be infected and be spreading it without my knowledge. Even if wearing a mask could prevent someone else from getting sick. Why? I DON'T WANNA!!" That's a very karen thing. Just as Karen as the Karens going around yelling at people who don't wear masks.

That makes no sense. :p

Karen wants to talk to the manager and yell at people who don't follow her rules.

I just want to be a normal person. We didn't wear masks for MERS, SARS, Avian, Swine, or 2018 flu. WuFlu is 99% survivable. It's a manufactured Dem Panic and I don't want to LARP it. It's play pretend to wear the mask.

A cyclone fence doesn't stop mosquitoes.

There will ALWAYS be viruses. There always were. :)

Yup, there was also way worse pandemics than this one. I'll bet when the Spanish Flu was around people wish they were lucky enough to have widespread availability of simple things that can reduce infection rates, like sanitizer and masks.

You still aren't addressing the point i've been trying to make this whole time. Wearing a mask isn't about YOU, Karen, it's about keeping people around you from potentially getting sick if you are infected and spreading it without knowing.

You could keep someone from getting sick by simply wearing a mask during that 30 min shopping trip. But YOU don't care, you only care that you will be mildly uncomfortable during that time.

Do i support the lockdown, the forced measures? Hell no. Do I support simple, common sense measures to stop the spread of a pathogen? Yes. Wash your hands. If in a crowded space, wear a mask. We don't need government to force that on us. We, however, should take those simple steps if not for ourselves, for the people around us. Do you have a problem with rubbing alcohol on your hands to stop the spread of the virus? If not, then why is wearing a mask for a few minutes such an issue for you?

We just do not agree on MY personal responsibility for other people's safety. The proposed threat is 99% survivable but I'm suppose to change my life? No thanks! :) Some doctors also think masks are just meaningless virtue signaling. I'm not alone in my thinking. But I FULLY SUPPORT your right to wear a mask, where it is allowed by law. :)

Linking Chinese Health Organization and Dr. Oz isn't very compelling. Also, those are looking at wearing a mask to not be infected, not my argument which is wearing it if infected makes you spread it less.

Enjoy the ribs, MAGA.
