Spot on. I've made a similar comment, more related to reddit, but another example of Chinese infiltration into western social media -
Reddit is quite possibly the most popular and influential social media site in the Western world. Think about the content that appears on r/all or r/popular. The content that makes up the front page of reddit is seen by literally millions of people, and the cultural impact it has may effect hundreds of millions in total. I've been on reddit almost 9 years and it is incredibly obvious that it is has become subverted as a propoganda tool for the left and the Chinese.
People on this thread fail to realize that most of these select few powermods who have been recently exposed to be moderating 90% of reddits most popular subreddits, arent simply fat neckbeards who are looking for some source of power in their disappointing lives. Instead, it is much more serious and detrimental than that. I believe that Reddit, a site with hundreds of millions of visitors every month, is being used as a political propaganda tool for the left- usually revolving around pro LGBT (especially trans), pro climate change, pro government, anti-white, anti-cop and anti-American sentiments. All of these leftist talking points, constantly being pushed around the entirety of reddit, have significantly fueled the political and racial divide that has infected America.
Lastly, I believe that China could possibly be behind the divisive rhetoric and anti-American content that dominates reddit. The Chinese are very smart, and I'm sure they are well aware of the cultural impact social media sites, particularly reddit, have on the country as a whole. If they can keep Americans constantly fighting with themselves, then they will be much easier to surpass as the world superpower. I believe reddit has been sold out to the Chinese and the left. This is a major reason for the anti-Trump narrative that has consumed the whole site, and shutdown r/the_donald. Dont forget, almost half the country voted for Trump, meanwhile 95% of the reddit is anti-Trump. Trump is China's greatest enemy.
When I was working in China about 2 1/2 years ago, they hadn't even blocked Reddit on their great firewall yet. They didn't even really know what it was. Suddenly all my chinese friends asked me how to use Reddit. And we all know what happened next.
China is so deep into our system it's fucking insane. They underestimate the USA though. They are firmly convinced we're all fucking stupid. That's because they spend all day manipulating leftists.
We're not ready to accept Chinese rule yet, though. The radical leftist movement ends with radical leftists. I believe the number of them are shrinking, as most normal people simply can't handle the insane negativity coming from them. They've showed their cards and if we can be strong we have a chance. Globalists = CCP = Evil
I had a long comment typed out, but I accidentally closed my tab and now it's gone.
Anyways, I agree. I think the more neutral voters who were initially pushed to the left out of fear and pressure for being called racist or deplorable, simply for not hating Trump, are starting to come back around. If not to the right, at least back to neutral. And I think once this more neutral demographic realizes that Trump is the only one who is willing to stand up to China, then he might get their vote in the end. Thanks for your comments
