This is one of those rare times that I don't even care what the ridiculous reason they are using is, I'm still glad because I hate The College Board with a passion and have long railed against their outright monopoly on testing.

I posted about this before but the majority of the skill and effort towards studying for SAT/ACT is not even studying the material but learning how to cheat the process by quickly eliminating trick answers and make educated guesses in the time allotted.

I've known a lot of smart kids who got terrible scores simply because they had a panic attack from the pressure and fear surrounding this this "one" chance to get into the college of their dreams. It's also absurdly unfair to kids with talent in subjective fields like art. They may want to go to college too but have no way to show off their best skills because they don't fit in a Scantron.

TL;DR fuck College Board
