I doubt it as well, but I have some cautious optimism.
He's pro-business, pro-gun, anti-PC, pro-tech free speech to a degree higher than the average internet content creator (Alex Jones will be ep. #1 on Spotify's JRE 2.0), and he's open about his disdain for mainstream media.
His MMA fight companion friends explicitly lean slightly pro-Trump (as well as a lot of the UFC, which he's obviously associated with pretty well), his comedian friends are mostly apolitical, but they don't have TDS like a lot of Hollywood entertainers do, and his fanbase is pretty significantly conservative (check the likes/dislikes on conservative/liberal guests).
There's a case to be made for at least mild continued Trump support. 50/50 chance really.
He's undoubtedly the biggest adult-oriented internet figure of this era, who he supports politically has serious implications.
He also said 100% he would vote for Bernie. You're talking about a gun-loving, self-made millionaire who got there from his long hours of hard work and he was willing to vote for a guy who loathed his entire being and would strip it all away from him.
Joe Rogan is not exactly the brightest bulb in the box. He makes for an entertaining interview but nobody should ever take him seriously.

He’s all up for helping people out, but I can’t see him supporting the DNC in its current form that fucked Bernie over a second time and put a man with dementia at the helm who is picking a VP based on the color of her skin and content of her genitals. When that same political party is keeping the world on lockdown for no reason just to spite Trump, I can’t see him supporting it. His move to Spotify is in part to get around censorship, though I’m sure $100 million is plenty of motivation on its own.
When the gloves come off, you know most of who he’s coming after are the democratic party swamp rats. The main thing he dislikes about Trump is that he doesn’t act in typically presidential fashion, and is willing to trade blows and get nasty with anybody, even tweeting at them personally throughout the day to call them out. In the grand scheme of things those are very minor criticisms he has of Trump.
I think Rogan knows what any of us know at this point, in that the lockdown’s political theater and people are trying to censor anything to the contrary, including him. That’s probably the larger reason he’s going to Spotify, because platforms are trying to censor him in speaking out against the lockdown, only with him it’s harder because if they overtly do it to him they’re basically angering a nuclear roidy gladiator with infinite followers to match. He isn’t even telling people not to follow the lockdown orders, and won’t meet with someone unless they’re tested, he’s just presenting clear facts against the lockdown measures that are publicly available, and pointing out how many don’t even make sense, or Pelosi telling everybody to come hug a Chinese national as this all kicked off.
Dana White’s also a big influence on Rogan, and he’s always been pro Trump. I half think Rogan claims not to be only because he’s still technically a Hollywood darling despite what he’s become, and it’d deeply hurt his income and even ability to go to the Comedy Store if he didn’t.
Not that the the $100 million Spotify deal isn’t enough incentive on its own to switch to that platform. I think Rogan mostly wants to be on the right side of history though, and speak out against the globalist postmodern nonsense the left has become in ways that have currently locked down the world.
That’d easily be his highest downloaded podcast forever. I know Joe would be down, I doubt Trump ever would be though. It’d be like walking into a nuclear trap. Joe and Jamie would be there with an endless list of questions and facts pressing Trump on absolutely everything anyone’s ever said about him or that he’s ever done in his entire life. That's true however if Trump went on Rogan, Rogan would probably be the only non-Sean, Tucker or OANN media member to actually treat Trump fairly, with respect and not take his quotes out of context. If he has something to grill Trump over it would be for a legitimate issue (ie, immigration, healthcare, China Flu etc.) and he would be willing to hear Trump out and give him a chance to tell his side of the story without any spin. He wouldn't be talking about '2 scoops' or ask him about is 'friendship with Putin'. He would actually talk to Trump about the issues and his administration without crucifying him.
The only reason Joe Rogan is still in California is due to exactly two reasons:
The Comedy Store is there. Joe's got a loooonnnng history with the Comedy Store and supports it wholeheartedly. He uses that place to test out new material and see new comics.
All his comedy friends still live there because the Comedy Store is still there.
Joe's not leaving California unless the Comedy Store moves or completely shuts down.
If folks want Joe to leave, then they need to convince the Comedy Store to relocate to a coastal, conservative-friendly, and easy to get into and out of state like Florida, and Miami specifically.
