At Emergency Room Can’t See my Dad

I live in California. My dad just got taken to the emergency room. They won’t let me in to see him. Say there are no exceptions. Anyone out there in this wonderful state that has had to deal with this or any commie Fornia lawyers out there that might give me some advice?

I’m so sorry, pede. I don’t have any suggestions, but I hope your dad is ok and gets out of the ER soon. My dad had many emergency room stays before he passed a couple of years ago and I can’t imagine not getting to be with him. I had to advocate for him with all of the doctors and nurses because he had dementia. I would have lost my shit if I couldn’t have been with him then. My heart goes out to you.

Thanks! It does look like he's going to be okay as long as the COVID test comes back negative.
