Has anybody noticed a complete blackout around Obamacare? I haven't heard anything about it in forever. I remember it being hyped like crazy, but it was passed, there were various debates, and chaos ... then a blackout and nobody talked about it. To date, I don't know a single person it has helped, and health-insurance is more expensive than ever.

I remember McCain killing the repeal with his stupid little thumbs down.

I remember Trump removing the penalty for not having insurance.

I remember talk about it needing to go to court again or something due to it no longer being a "tax" since there was no longer a penalty.

Other than that, I don't l don't think I've heard anything else.

The only people it "helped" were career dead beats, you know the type. The people who always have some physical or mental ailment they always have to bring up preventing them from doing basic tasks.

Because of those people, insurance companies had to charge more to people who did pay. All it did was raise healthcare costs across the board. Monthly payments, deductibles, everything. Thats probably why they rarely talk about it. My employer healthcare cost $30 a month pre-obama care, and it shot through the roof at the first enrollment period after it passed.

First two years it was good, Self employed here and was subscribed for 4 years. Went from 700 per month with 2500 deductible to 1400 per month with 13K deductible. This is for two healthy late 30s people.
