This isn't about politics, the corona response, who's to blame... It's about where we are right now. It's about going forward, reopening america, MAGA.

There's an epidemic from a viral pathogen that has swept the globe. It's weird; it acts differently from similar viruses, it started in CHYNUH in a lab in the Wuhan providence, it's related to a bat, it may be the catalyst for WW3. It has weird medical ailments, hydroxychloroquine probably helps and the media turned an old established medication into something akin to using uranium as healing crystals. It was predicted to be an unprecedented calamity and turned out to be...not that. It's weird times, frens.

I'm a father, a husband, and nurse. I love being a nurse. I have a passion for my family, for helping heal people, for liberty, for my country. The economic response led me to be a stay at home dad, and now I have way too much time on my hands. Some people paint, some read, I'm trying my hand at writing and am humbly requesting my thoughts be considered.

We are divided in america. This is nothing new for modern history. This is by design, and it is the swamp. It is what fake news wants us to be. There was a threat of a pandemic, GEOTUS went on the offensive early. He hoped he could stop it, he certainly did his best. Travel bans were put in place. Ventilators ordered, ICU capacity increased. PPE went into mass production. Thank you, Donald Trump, for doing what you could. It saved lives.

As well intending as GEOTUS' optimism was, the pathogen did reach our great shores. The war came home. But it was not as the doom sayers said, we are a strong people. Ventilators were plenty and ICU beds were no where close to lacking. Navy ships were stationed by major port cities and the Army Corp of Engineers built hospitals to be used on the front lines. This was an admirable response, prudent and ultimately, unnecessary. Thank God. Many want to say we should've done more, but given the time frame I say we did a damn good job. Models and predictions be damned, overall we blew them all away. The American Covid Response was a resounding success to date.

But here we are, we need to go back to work. We need states productive. Regardless of political affiliation, we all can agree at some point we have to reopen; we have to go back to work. Otherwise we all will starve.

Some want to continue lock down, some see it as a chance to grab power. A way to herd the sheeple, a way to divide the people. A way to get a mentally crippled democratic candidate a snow balls chance of dethroning GEOTUS. It will not work.

Now, we're past all that and are where we are now. States are reopening, that cannot be stopped. They would like to stop it, hold onto this power they grabbed, but we aren't having it. We are past fear, ignorance, we are moving forward as we should. But, what is prudent? Surely, denying the threat that GEOTUS worked so hard to mitigate is not something to deny. Surely this was not for naught. Nay, what we did thus far, while admittedly an overreaction, was to save lives. And we did. We gave healthcare a needed amount of time to prepare for the worst and thankfully the worst did not occur. So why did i start with a pepe wearing a mask and links advocating the usage of such masks?

Because it's common sense. We don't need government to tell us to wash our hands, we don't need police standing in public restrooms demanding we wash our hands after we poo, we will do it because we are an educated people. I have respect for the American people to...well...wash their hands after using the bathrooms. It is widely recommended we wash and sanitize our hands when possible. As there should be no opposition to wearing a face mask when prudent.

As referenced in my links above, it's not about protecting yourself from being exposed to a pathogen but more from reducing exposure to those around the carriers. Stop this fight on masks, it's silly. We don't need a governor mandating we wear masks, we need our people to understand it's basic hygiene. If you are in crowded area, wear a mask. It's not a lot to ask. It's not something government should demand. We should, as a people, deny fear of the pathogen, be educated, and understand in some situations it only makes sense to wear one. This is not a political issue, it's evolution of understanding of basic human hygiene. So what if you are uncomfortable for 30 minutes of grocery shopping, whether it's the CHYNUH plague or peak flu season, when in big crowds of people wear a mask. If you can't wear one for whatever reason, then those around you help prevent your exposure to a potentially debilitating pathogen. This is not a hill we should die on, not worth the fight. We have bigger issues at stake.

Wearing a mask in crowded public spaces during any time of knowing there is an airborne pathogen causing illness is a good idea. COVID is nothing more than a slightly more severe flu. More communicable and deadly than the flu. Why not wear a mask during flu season in crowded spaces? It would do nothing but reduce health care costs, prevent illness and even save lives. At what expense? Mild discomfort for a few minutes? Is this the hill you want to die on? Or is this the hill they want us to fight over?

So yes, please choose to wear a face mask in crowded public settings when prudent. And push back against tyrants who demand it or any violation of liberty and freedom with repercussion of a boot to the neck. Knowledge over fear, love over hate. MAGA.
