If she says the masks wouldn't even protect you from covid, it means she's saying the masks are useless against covid, not that the masks are too good for covid. Otherwise, she would also say that masks are too good for "measles, tuberculosis and chickenpox", because those can also be avoided by staying away from people, which is something hospital staff can't really do, as it'd be self-defeating. Are you keeping up?
