Also, apparently you really should not wear a mask when there's a risk for droplet contamination: basically, once something touches the mask all bets are off, and you're just walking around with an incubator on your face. They really are just so that surgeons don't sneeze into your open wounds, and I'm not sure why their use has expanded so drastically.
So, as long as you don't ever touch the mask, cough too much, sneeze, get anything on it at all, try to eat with it on, use one of those damn cut up t-shirts or bandannas pretending they do anything, and replace it ever 2 hours which is the maximum effective time of like every brand of mask, then yeah, it maybe will prevent a thing it's never been shown to prevent.

At least 200+ years of "Modern" medicine (Small Pox Vaccine created in 1796) that was able to understand, on a fundamental level, about disease, infection and how to prevent it.

I've always viewed cloth masks as training wheels or people too stupid to realize they can cough into their shirt.

EVERY SINGLE PERSON i have seen in person or on TV wearing a mask ends up touching their face - their nose, their eyes, their mouth, their cheeks.
