These same modern people make a big deal about the people in the 30s not doing anything to stop the concentration camps in Germany and Russia at the time.
American "concentration camps" are three hots and a cot, free medical care, and the possibility that you actually can get into the country if you actually are a refugee and not just looking to score a free ride on the welfare system. And if you don't, they just send you back to where you came from for free so you can try again.
