The "until a vaccine" argument is absolutely preposterous. COVID-19 is a coronavirus. The common cold is a coronavirus. If we haven't found a cure or a vaccine for the common cold by now, it is absolutely insane to say that we are just going to shut down the world economy until a cure/vaccine is found. We just have to live with it now unless you are willing to sentence huge swaths of people to death by starvation.
This is why China should not have been fucking with novel bat coronaviruses. They found and intentionally reproduced a virus with a rare mutation to "study" it and then they carelessly or intentionally let it out of their lab.
