One small thing you can do is to sign up to be a Poll Watcher (what they are called in Virginia). I did it back in 2016 in Virginia. Not sure if it is the same for all states, but the state Republican party provided some online training and you watch the process until the polls are closed.

Funny, I remember at the end when they were packing up the ballot boxes, Clinton had won that precinct. However, it was by a much smaller amount than Obama in a heavy Dem district. I remarked to the Dem poll watchers (each party has their own) that it seemed to be a good night and if this held up, Trump might have a chance. I remember them looking at me like I was insane. When I mentioned the previous numbers, they started to look a bit concerned. Still got home in time to watch the drama unfold the rest of the night.

If you can, please sign up to be a Poll Watcher (or whatever they may call it in your state). I was the only Republican poll watcher at that voting precinct and it was all new to me.

Enjoy being the only white person there. Ask me how I know...

Democrats hate voting. They want to appoint authority. Kind of like Russia and China, and many others.

This is a very valid idea regardless of any doubt. People definitely need a post up at The vulnerable districts and be ready to film buses, boxes of ballots being brought in, and anything else that looks fishy. I was in orange county California during the last election, which was stolen, and I swear I saw some fishy things and wish I had recorded and reported. I have since “voted with my feet” and moved to a strong conservative district in the great state of Iowa so no need to police here, but I will definitely be encouraging some of my friends back in orange county to get out there on election day with their phones and record anything that looks fucky.

No matter how closely you watch a dishonest person...they will always find a way...they're jump through any slightest loophole......it's the attitude of dishonesty that must be eradicated, and punishment when it is caught. That's the real battle that we're in and didn't recognize it....The twisting of right and wrong and the complacency of the latter...

You're right to some extent but this same logic could be used to dismiss building a wall or carrying a firearm. They might find a way around your precautions so don't even bother?

Push things like this on your centrist/lefty peers. Make them admit being hypocrites. Make them struggle to explain why more transparency is bad.

I don't have any centrist leftist peers. No leftist is a peer of any patriot. To completely different animals to me.

You eat, you shit, you breathe. In some sense they're your peers and you exist alongside them to some extent. If you want to win you've got to win some of these people over. Probably a good quarter of the people on here if not more were self identified socialists or leftists in their younger more naive days. Being a shithead to them isn't what won them over it's being hammered repeatedly with logic and reason.

Definitely more transparency in ballot counting! I agree! Even more than voter ID I'd like to know exactly who is counting the ballots! I already live in a mail-in state so here the first part seems like a lost cause... :\ More Accountability in any form is good at this point.
