Real hippies are conservatives now. Just like real punks are conservative. The most punk thing you can do now is have no tattoos, a wife, and three or more children.
I'm kind of proud of myself for never getting a tattoo, every single one of my buddys did back in the day. Even though I like them if they're done right, I feel like the minority without one.
Back when I attended a certain college where at least 85% of the student body were literally unwashed hippies*, I have to admit that I was never more fearful of my life and person than when I saw a group of them gathered up, triggered over God knows what. Soybois or not, even a large enough group of toddlers can trample an adult to death.
*I'm not kidding. They actually had to put a requirement in the student handbook that anyone who chose to live in the dorms had to bathe at least once a month.
