Probably 80-90% of drugs in the US that are Rx only should be OTC. The ONLY drug that is OTC that should be Rx is Tylenol. When teens (girls) are having their cries for attention, they'll take beneydryl and a pain reliever. If it's Aspirin, naproxen, or ibuprofen, it's not GREAT! for them, but a stomach pump/some powerful laxatives, a psych consult, and a follow-up and they're fine. Tylenol? THEY. ARE. FUCKED! Not always, but enough that if all the PSA's we pump into schools and over the radio/YouTube, a "DON'T TRY TO KILL YOURSELF WITH TYLENOL, IT FUCKING HURTS!" or maybe even the truth would probably save more lives yearly than just about every other PSA aired out together.

The shit part is it's hard to get accurate stats, I have it on low authority that more than one COD was fudged at the threat of lawsuit.

Antibiotics should always be Rx. Part of the reason these diseases are getting so powerful is because of the overuse of antibiotics.

Colloidal silver came out just before antibiotics and the medical field loved it. They still use it in some cases where antibiotics won't work. Now they pooh pooh it just so they can virtue signal. If we had taken the exact opposite approach, use silver wherever it works and reserve antibiotics for when silver doesn't work, we'd be WAY ahead of the game now.

I respectfully disagree. While i listed a sadly common example, there are many, many more long term issues that result from Nyquil and Tylenol being used together, despite Nyquil already containing tylenol. Also, i donrrecall suggesting it be banned, nor do i recall an amendment to the constitution of the United States enshrining the right to unfettered access to tylenol.
