Now this is what businesses need to do. Thankfully most places here don't have a mask requirement, except big chains like Costco. But hardly anyone here is wearing a mask anyway, I just see a few here and there.

I won't go into any business that requires me to wear a mask.

You're lucky. Illinois requires muzzles in any store. Pretty difficult to bear, especially now that the temperatures are up to 85°F. Very depressing to see.

I feel for ya man. I live in SC and everything is slowly but surely opening. We are moving forward at least. At one of his briefings my governor even said "we can't stay locked down forever, the constitution doesn't allow that". It made me so happy to hear my republican governor say that.

31
JoePCool14 31 points ago +32 / -1

I mean, if we want to get all technical, the Constitution doesn't allow for any such lockdown. ;) Either way, happy to hear SC is reasonable. My family is looking to move there in a few years. Illinois is a bankrupt, corrupt shithole.

TrumpTrain 16 points ago +17 / -1

Just think of all the germ/virus buildup on those masks everyone is wearing, and how they are constantly touching their face because it irritates them or to raise/lower it or to take it off and put it back on. All those germs all over their faces now! Gross! Talk about a prime way to spread it!

DoYouBelieveInMAGA 3 points ago +3 / -0

I always welcome my MAGA folks but damn. Ohio, Pennsylvania, Illinois, Connecticut. Yall are pouring down here.

4
JoePCool14 4 points ago +4 / -0

Don't worry. When we move out, we're voting for the Lion Party. Never the Communists.

3
Frsh 3 points ago +4 / -1

And just one state north governor cooper is trying all sorts of fuckery. He's a snake. SC really is the superior Carolina (besides allowing statues to be torn down. ) we're moving to WV asap.

That was a vindictive move against the VA public and a reach around for the media. I can't believe he said he wasn't prepared when going out in public, but yet he thinks he's preparing us. Was he a proctologist by chance? He's well versed in asshole...

16
NormaJeanRocks 16 points ago +16 / -0

I'm in IL and havent worn one yet or been asked to, even if they have the sign saying its required. Maybe its my fuck off look I give them

11

6
NormaJeanRocks 6 points ago +6 / -0

For sure, if they asked me to for a reason like that I'd have no problem putting one on.

7
thuggishruggishtrump 7 points ago +7 / -0

Yeah like getting a tat or haircut, nails done etc...

Sure I understand why they require masks but grocery stores and all these other fuckboy big chains like Walmart can go fuck themselves. If it wasn't for the fact Walmart is one of our customers I wouldn't go there whatsoever. They literally stand in front of the entrance and constantly turn people away who don't have masks on.

It's such bullshit, I hate Walmart so much, trying to get my brother to leave that shithole.

3
Brynjolf-of-Riften 3 points ago +3 / -0

Huh, mine just has a guy stand outside counting the people who come in and out. They're only letting a sixth of the Maximum Occupancy in, which isn't so bad considering how huge it is.

2
AlaskaBear 2 points ago +2 / -0

My wife gave me a haircut. I now have a Mohawk. No mask yet.

Here in Texas (liberal ass Dallas) they legit turn people away who don't have masks, it's so bizarre.

2
JoePCool14 2 points ago +2 / -0

Grocery stores in my area have "We reserve the right to refuse service" if you don't muzzle up. Absolutely no choice.

5
AngelMark 5 points ago +5 / -0

Same here in NJ and guess what i went to home depot, stop n shop and my local cigarette shop without my mask on! No one said a word!

8
silflay 8 points ago +8 / -0

I’ve also never been bothered here in Jersey except once at a non-chain grocery store. There was no sign upon entry at all, yet the manager badgered me and asked me to leave. I did, and told him he lost a customer permanently.

I've avoided them since the start of this shit. I doubt I'll be back.

7
Fredo_Cuomo 7 points ago +8 / -1

I don't go into Costco, drove by Sunday. Not a single person exiting the store was wearing a mask so unless they were pocketing them as soon as they exit the store that's a really gay store policy

5
Brynjolf-of-Riften 5 points ago +5 / -0

The only places I've worn a mask to was the doctor's office and the hospital. Those make sense to wear a mask to, but that's it.

4
Southern_Belle 4 points ago +4 / -0

I think this should be normal behavior for the doctor's office -- at least some offices.

If your doctor sees a lot of contagious people, then yes. Masks. And the office should provide one.

4
slrpnls 4 points ago +4 / -0

The Urgent Care facility required masks if you had flu like symptoms long before this stupidity. The rest of us were allowed to go mask free.

5
LS_DJ 5 points ago +5 / -0

The best thing is seeing a store with "mask requirement" for its employees....and seeing the employees with their nose above the mask anyway. That renders the placebo masks even more useless than they really are

68
RedFoxOnFire 68 points ago +69 / -1

I want to see a sign that reads.

"Our Employees Are Armed. If You Enter Wearing A Mask We'll Assume You're Here To Rob Us."

It's actually scientific advice. Exposure increases immunity.

15
MedPede 15 points ago +15 / -0

We will need a certain amount of exposure to get there. If we leave masks at suggested, and drop the "required" part, than people can choose for themselves. Something, something Constitution.

Meanwhile, intentionally exposing someone to AIDS is perfectly OK to leftists.
If the Chinese Coronavirus had originated from an Islamic country, Democrats would be arresting people for trying to not get sick with it.

I wont shop in a store that requires masks - only a few do in my area.

Others will only shop in stores that require masks. Definitely will be interesting to see which business model thrives in the short and long run.

Reddit grows more intolerable by the day. I guess it's how they cope : Pretend that [an admittedly nasty strain of] flu with a death rate of 0.5% is the literal bubonic plague, or admit that The Powers That Be regard ALL tax slaves-not just the ones in red states, not just the ones registered Republican - as expendable trash, whose lives and futures can be permanently altered if not outright ruined in pursuit of a political goal : Destroying Trump and his economy.

9
NormaJeanRocks 9 points ago +9 / -0

Just got off the phone with one of our vendors.

"We're at stay at home until at least October. Hopefully by then they'll smarten up and realize working from home is the modern way of doing things"

Guess who isn't getting any of our business ever again?

2
Southern_Belle 2 points ago +3 / -1

Why is the vendor working from home a problem for your company?

Just wondering.

Thanks.

3
Fredo_Cuomo 3 points ago +4 / -1

They don't favor the lockdown because of safety - they favor the lockdown to move their job to home, something they could of done without shutting down the economy by getting a different job.

Liberals at this point are only continuing being in favor of the shutdowns to get the lifestyle they want.

5
slrpnls 5 points ago +5 / -0

27
JimDandy 27 points ago +28 / -1

Not in California. Here you can walk out the door with anything under $950 and it is not a chargeable offense. The police may take away what ever you pilfer. They may even write you a very STERN note. But you will not be arrested.

6
JwPATX 6 points ago +7 / -1

Hopefully some of the thieves in Dallas will move there since they can only get away with $700 there. One good haul, and the trip to CA pays for itself. Higher cost of living probably cuts into the profits, but since it’s a 100% profit business....

4
Daemoness 4 points ago +4 / -0

Does this apply to anyone in California, or just citizens-? Asking for a friend looking for a fun vacation spot later in the summer ....(j/k)

2
Mac3 2 points ago +2 / -0

950 a day

2
lifeisahologram 2 points ago +2 / -0

The reward far outweighs the risk. Hell if I was evil, I'd do that all day everyday.

Just go to a store, and steal anything. Put the stolen property in secret storage shed, and repeat. If at any point you get caught and can't keep what you stole, just do it again!

Once you are bored that day, or have enough stuff, sell your stolen property on Craigslist for 50-75% of it's value for instant cash. Or sell it more if you aren't in a rush.

5
FALKERMAN 5 points ago +5 / -0

I was thinking the same thing walking around a store the other day. This time must be heaven for the thieves, pickpockets, child abducters, and perverts. Everyone's wearing masks, security cam footage just became null and void, and now with millions out of work...

Shit's gonna get worse before it gets better, and I ain't talking about no Kung Flu.

I'm just guessing, but I'd bet that: 1. this store has a high percentage of African American clientele, 2. The owners are not white and, therefore, not subject to the eternal "gift" of white guilt and atonement.

2

We're Texas Pedes. We're in Commiefornia right now to complete our move. We've been in Texas for the past 3 months. We got back to our old digs and everybody's wearing a fucking mask. And treating each other like shit - which goes with wearing masks.

There is an obvious gulf between the red and blue states, and it's getting a lot worse. Thanks Communists.

Correct "your" AND correct "They're"!

I didn't think this was possible in our modern age.

They didn't put an apostrophe on "employees" but that's a minor deduction.

Message, grammar, readability. I give it a 9/10

100° out today in Northern California and I drive ups. Got called in on for not wearing one. For heavens sake we don’t have AC and we can’t leave our door open to the back of the truck. So the package area is roughly 115-120° and I put in anywhere from 7.5 to 11 miles of walking. Leave me the hell alone or order through someone else. People seriously suck butt
