The Satanists are angry that she’s wearing their sign upside down as a means of disrespecting them.

LOL it would be funny if someone wore an upside down cross seriously thinking it represented Satan.

To be fair most don't know it's the cross of St.Peter. Hollywood did a good job with that.

It may have at one time been "The Cross of St. Peter", but as a Roman Catholic who attended Catholic school, I had never heard of it, and never saw Catholic people wearing it.

Likely most Catholics who grew up pre-Vatican II were taught that St. Peter was crucified upside down and hence the symbol. I know my parents and their peers know way more about such things.

These days the state of catechesis is awful in most places so you have a large percentage of Catholics who are ignorant of large amounts of their faith even if they go through Catholic School.

Lol Pope John Paul II used to wear it often and had a chair with one also. It comes up right away when you search for it. Popes are the direct successors to St.Peter so you see it in Catholicism the most.

The upside down cross being evil is a modern invention, it's literally a Hollywood thing. There's no historical record of it being used for anything occult related.
