The mask does no more good for an 80 year old. It doesn't protect the wearer, but those they come in contact with. The wearer gets exposed to more germs once the mask is wet, so an 80 year old would be at a greater risk.
I know, but they might be scared since the media has freaked them out. Basically, I'm not saying they should wear them, but I'm not going to shame an 80 year old for being a cuck because they are 80, and have been through some shit. I didn't say 60 or 70, I said 80, which is different, but still you made a good point about it not really doing anything besides being a placebo, and masks are very disgusting if not changed very regularly
