Should we be suprised when a member of an organization that unleashes MRAPs and tactical/combat gear with senseless frequency in non-hostage situations views citizens as the enemy and behaves accordingly?

Personally I have been beaten up by cops for watching tv. I answered the door and 3 bursted in and beat me up. I got released after about 16 hours but it reallllllly sucked
They did not even talk to me before beating me up and it was all a mistake.

For the most part yes, some police are sadists though. They will get you on the ground even if you are willingly surrendering, then they deliberately cause pain. They say don't resist but then push knees or feet into people's backs or crush their head into the ground. Then when people squirm they say stop resisting and apply more pressure. They demand you lie still but keep hurting you until you die or pass out. I remember a video of this one retarded woman with a taser who got a guy on the ground with the taser and then kept using it on him, he wasn't resisting he was basically just convulsing. She just continued to use the taser on him thinking he could stay completely still while being tasered. He died in the end i think, the woman was clearly a diversity hired retard.

My opinion on this changed back when that dude got choked to death in Staten Island for selling black market cigarettes. This shouldn’t even have been a crime, but even so should have been handed a ticket and that’s all. I don’t care if he got chippy with the cops, because now we know that many of them are just little Brownshirts waiting to enforce petty tyranny.
I watched that cop kneel on the guys neck for five minutes, the guy was subdued, he could have moved his knee to the guys shoulder to let him breathe and still maintained control.
Yes, according to a police trainer the knee to the spares between the shoulder blades is okay, briefly, to subdue a suspect. A knee to the neck is not okay.
I think you need to watch the video. He was unconscious and the police officer still had his knee applying pressure to the back of his neck. George Floyd was not resisting arrest. The officers were wrong here. Fortunately, they have been fired and will most likely be charged soon.
