That may be, but as an American I am optimistic that new ones will take their place. Many small businesses will never recover, but new small businesses will pop up. Because American's don't roll over and die, we will be better than ever before when we are finally allowed to fully open up.

All the jobs produced products or services in response to demand. The demand will surely return. Possibly slowly but as things ramp up, people will need all the products and services they needed/wanted before. COVID will not change the need for medical products and services, food, clothing, car and house maintenance, CPAs, insurance, real estate, entertainement, etc. This may be a simplistic take on the economy but where there is demand, people will supply.
