Watergate was a scam too. The 'crime' was two young volunteer campaign staffers bugging the phone the dnc campaign office used to call up hookers and other goodies. They were stupid and got caught and when Nixon was told about it he basically laughed and had it covered up. Not the most honest thing to do but it got leaked to the press and they turned it from a story of two bungling kids trying to catch the opposition ordering up some hookers and booze into this arch criminal conspiracy to subvert the constitution and destroy our democracy with Nixon as its nefarious leader. Nixon didn't see it coming and he reacted badly again and that just put blood in the water for his enemies on both sides which their unending media blitz coverage eventually led to his resignation. Sound familiar?
It wasn't even a crime then. They were pushing for impeachment over his firing of the ag over his bungling of the entire situation but the media spun it as political revenge and public opinion tanked so he resigned. Nixon did nothing wrong.

It's been proven that Hillary Clinton's campaign paid Christopher Steele for lies about Trump, and no one in the media even cared, apart from Sean Hannity and Tucker Carlson. So yeah, Watergate would definitely be considered small potatoes by today's standards.

How the fuck did this community just lay down and let reddit get their way and kick us off? We used to be strong and not give in to the bullshit thrown at us on reddit, yet we totally rolled over and let them fuck us with no real resistance for some reason. T_D was one of the largest active communities on reddit, and we just dropped it all like it was nothing. This site is fine, but it is not going to do anything to help people wake up and see the truth like we were able to do on reddit. I used to be an active daily T_D poster on reddit, and now even I just use this website maybe once a week at the most. Probably not even that often. No non-Trump supporters come here at all anymore; no one even really knows this place exists, and red-pilling liberals on reddit has most likely dropped to an almost non-existent level at this point. Our presence on reddit is probably responsible for a huge number of people coming out of that liberal echo chamber and seeing the light, and I’m sure that doesn’t happen much on reddit anymore at all.
Why did we give in so easily? We should’ve fought back! We had done nothing wrong to be kicked off of reddit (we weren’t even really kicked off, we basically chose to leave instead of staying to fight), so why the hell did we roll over and bow down to the fascists on reddit?! Knowing what the people in this community are like, it just doesn’t make sense to me that we bowed out so easily. If anyone can explain this to me, I’d appreciate it.
