Yep. They aren’t a publishing platform. They are inserting opinion with their “fact checking” and subject to lawsuits.
Well actually they ARE a publishing platform. They censor speech they don't like while allowing people to attack Trump 24/7.
They just don't want to be treated as such.

That is correct but when given the millions of voices on the platform, is there any effective difference between the two? Every opinion is represented there so by choosing which are seen you might as well have written the words yourself. And as we know these puppets and Twitter coordinate their messaging.
If anything it is more sinister to do it this way because it appears to be authentic.
The issue is they claim to be just a platform, that protects them. They need to be classed as a publisher.
Being a publisher means they can be sued if they censor political speech. Then they can be sued if they ban you for a political opinion.
Well, what it really means is they can be held accountable for illegal activity that occurs on their site. If they aren't a "platform" then they basically "condone" everything they do not censor. And thus are liable.
What fact checking ? President was giving an informed opinion, they countered with CNN opinion.
No facts were actually checked. Meanwhile plenty of stories of mail voting fraud are coming out day after day.
And this does not address their outright censorship and how many of their people doing the cencoring are foreign Nationals or algorithems created by foreign nationals.
'opinion checking' they should call it. hope social media gets spanked hard by the new EOs. these people deserve jail time for all the shit they've caused.

I was of mixed opinion on this at first. While I definitely think social media should be treated as publishers rather than platforms, I also respect their right to do what they want on their own playground. It's kind of a philosophical quandary.
Then I remembered, "Wait a minute. I was a member at r/The_Donald. Look at what they did to us when given the chance."
So now, I'm no longer of mixed opinion. Screw Twitter and all its shrieking cucks and douchebags. Burn it to the ground, then piss away the ashes.
