I thought the lockdown was the most absurd thing ever, but now its all the branch covidian coworkers and friends and family members that seem to be getting high off the fear porn and control that is mind boggling to me. Like people who seemed completely level headed just paralyzed in fear over this. I'll honestly never have any respect for most of them again. Its not like I even go trying to debate people or be obnoxious about it, its agree and submit or you are a conspiracy theorist, dangerous nut job. You cant even be middle of the road on it. Yeah, I just had a friend of mine say today that people who aren't following the state's lockdown restrictions are just going to make the state extend the lockdown even longer. I swear that if the state told these people to load themselves into boxcars to go to the re-education camps, they would do so without question and wag their fingers at anyone who refused to comply. It's amazing that we don't already have a totalitarian government with so many willing participants.
My company just issued a mandatory fireable offense mask policy. Like we are 70 days into this what are you thinking? So basically the modern day version of burning heretics on the stake? But to top it off the speech from the CEO is "I get you all want to act like tough guys who cant get sick or think its all make believe, but dont be selfish" FFS it is not about that at all
