So what? Most of us here don’t give a damn whether the government is led by republicans or democrats. Tyranny is tyranny, and it is in our DNA as Americans, who have since before the founding of our nation to resist tyranny from any form it comes. From monarchy to dictatorial governors, we will fight. Why do you think we cherish our right to arm ourselves?
Yeah, a lot of us are/were tired of the establishment in both parties who solely represented the interests of the so-called “elites”/big business. While the establishment of both the Republican and Democrat parties pretended to care about average American interests, they ruled solely as a uni-party.
Trump came along and gave the middle finger to the political establishment, and working to reform the government to be more average-American centric.
This has been a movement coming for a long time now on both sides. I first noticed the movement beginning on the conservative side during the GWB presidency. Where GWB governed in favor of the political establishment. The movement started to be more unified with the Tea Party during Obama’s term, and from there spread a lot more. The liberals have their own movement with Sanders ideology, but the Democrat political establishment has a lot more control of the party than the Republicans do of their own, so the liberal movement gets squashed. For example, the Democrats use of super delegates that prevented Sanders from moving forward in 2016, and again in 2020 with political establishment control.
I see so you're supporting Trump so that he may turn the American government back into a system that is more for the common Amercian then the Elite ?
Doesn't it bother you then that Trump is an Elite himself then ?
And that he clearly has taken multiple actions that make allot of money for himself ?
I really support your view that the government should be for the people, sadly we have the same problem in Belgium, the government here rather helps the elite as well.
But I have a hard time believing Trump is non-elitist.
Can you tell me why you think differently ?

Ah I think I understand. You are pro Trump as in Trump being a sort of 'loose canon' president. That goes against the government ?
Otherwise I don't really understand why you are so pro-trump.
