“There are nearly 400,000 Chinese students in American universities. Thanks to Article 7 of the Chinese National Intelligence Law of 2017, each of these students is required to ‘support, assist and cooperate with state intelligence work according to law’. In other words, the United States is home to some 400,000 potential spies from China.”

I used to pick up Chinese foreign exchange students with Uber. Used to pick and drop them up from school here in CA at one of the UC's. By far the rudest and coldest type of passenger i got.

At first I thought it was just a language barrier thing, or maybe some cultural thing especially considering Americans are over-friendly. But other asian students were very polite to me: Japanese, Korean, etc. Just not the Chinese specifically.. In hindsight, I was maybe picking up literal Chinese spies who were brainwashed to hate America. It all makes sense now.

Where I live it has been taken over by mainland Chinese. My x girlfriends parents left as they were from Hong Kong,

I have seen so much spitting and had a woman hold a kid over a bin to piss.

Damn they can be disgusting as they also dont pick up dog shit. I have to tell them off to do it.

Something went wrong for Japan in WWII. Can't say that Hitler was right or wrong - there was a lot wrong with him, but somehow Japan was in the wrong place at the wrong time. Tragically.

Fair, thank you. The issue with terrorists is that they are part of a broader campaign. I can't say that the middle east, having been there, isn't scary. But, they don't really have any means to build up a global economy like China does. I don't think they have the desire. Still, the way the middle east works it's way into worldwide politics is pretty scary. I think they want to run the world as much as China does, and have an equal chance of doing it, tbh.

In China's case, the simple fact is every one that would have been against the CCP in the past are all dead.

China is a prime example of what happens when the far left has total control and is able to kill off people at will.

Most American's don't realize how much the rest of the world looks down on white people. The world is racist as fuck. Westerner's live in some bat-shit insane bubble that requires massive levels of cognitive dissonance to pretend we'll all just get along somehow.

9
Techrev 9 points ago +9 / -0

I lived in Florida for 27 years. Saw a lot, heard a lot, but I have never in my life seen such blatant and open racism as I did in Morocco. Against white people.

This. It drives me nuts how little people understand about racism and hatred in the world. Or how, for all if it's faults, America has stood apart from almost everyone else in it's inclusiveness for generations. Meanwhile, every other civilization constantly hates on other cultures and creeds. Especially their immediate neighbors in the region.

This should be taught in schools.

Han Chinese are the worst...many of them believe they're the 'Master Race'...even in China...and they're 18 percent of the worlds population.

2
donaldschwarzenegger 2 points ago +3 / -1

Its so ironic because they would get picked on at school here

Most of them werent very good looking, charismatic, charming or anything. They were just drones that were stuck up and distant for no reason. How can you be a master race if youre at the bottom of the totem pole outside of your city?

That bitch is in charge of content regulation at Twatter. It's so orwellian how she randomly decided that the term "learn to code" was harassment. Or how proud boys are banned and antifa accounts are allowed to stay up. As if antifa isn't an organization that stirs up the violence.

All of silicon valley badly wants entry into the Chinese market which is worth trillions. That's why they keep cucking out to the CCP. It's so foolish because the CCP will never allow them a foothold into their territory no matter how much censorship is implemented, they want their own companies created through stolen IP to be drivers of national and international success.

8

sleepinggiant 8 points ago +8 / -0

Not even....its POTENTIALLY worth trillions....but never will be. China is a paper tiger and is the most over leveraged country in the world. It is impossible for china to grow out of its debt. The only reason it hasn't become insolvent is because the various world banks and Trade administrations don't penalize it.

Keep in mind Chinas "middle class" has substantially less wealth than the american middle class. And, there are not enough resources on the planet for china to create a middle class large enough to stave off uprisings from the poor.

That's why Trump is going after China through trade. The easiest way to avoid a globalist push for WWWIII with China is to starve their contender before the fighting begins.

China is smoke and mirrors

5
WishdoctorsSong 5 points ago +6 / -1

That's really what blows my mind. It's obvious that China will absolutely use authoritarian means to make sure no company has a long term future in China that isn't fully controlled by the CCP. Honestly I don't think SV is that stupid, I think they're just that short-sighted. It's a bunch of people looking to be the ones who make the initial rush of cash transferring tech over to the CCP before the CCP shuts them out.

17
donaldschwarzenegger 17 points ago +18 / -1

I ask myself this all the time. So China is gonna become the first country to achieve world domination in the human race?

Im not sure if its the money or what, i thought we were richer. We actually funnel a lot of money to them, so i dont think its money. I think they were ruthless and created a masterplan via bioweapon. Destroy countries from within, no invading. Seems like a cunning Sun Tzu Art of War thing that asians are known for.

I just dont think Chinese are the superior race to pull this off, so im confused as you are.

They're getting it over on us because Democracy has a fundamental flaw, it is easily corruptible and influenceable by outside sources. The same ideology of freedom and tolerance that enables massive productivity and creativity is also a glaring weakness that can be exploited if the Democratic nation looses its cultural identity.

Communist nations on the other hand are far less vulnerable to subversion at the cost of utterly shit productivity, generally to the point where they are unable to support themselves and eventually collapse.

1

WishdoctorsSong 1 point ago +1 / -0

That's an issue with our Democracy, and in particular our insane citizenship laws. For example if we had a democracy where only net tax payers for the current year were to vote, the scenario you just described wouldn't be an issue.

2
donaldschwarzenegger 2 points ago +3 / -1

Theyre definitely not the master race or superior force. We seem to be literally cucking ourselves to them. We can take them on, but we have given them the power and respect to take over.

im not sure if the globalists are using the chinese for their own agenda or if they have simply been outsmarted and finessed, but i doubt its either. When its neither of the two logical answers, then thats what makes you think real hard about whats going on.

Big Tech loves the power the ChiComms have over their people, and desperately want in on that. They view themselves as the ruling elite, but our darn Constitution won't let them rule over us. As such they embrace the ChiComm form of government thinking they will be the ones in power. They're too stupid to realize Xi doesn't share power.

I'm on 6 day Twitter ban because I called Kathy Griffin a bitch while reporting her to the secret service for threats . Wish I could just delete my account but the god emperor has not found an alternative

As for Chinese. We need a full embargo of everything Chinese. We need to subsidize companies to bring their factories back here. And impose sanctions on every country still using Chinese slavery factories. China should be left to rot in the sun and destroy itself

No more soft invasion via tech and universities all commie garbage banned.

The older Chinese I work with think that CCP is literal satan. The younger are very patriotic and love the CCP. We’re definitely bringing in a very different crowd of tech immigrants than 20 years ago. The older ones talk about coming here as escaping and the younger ones are here because of a government pipeline of selection and schooling.

I'm getting some incredibly creepy vibes from this thread. What the hell is going on when someone JUST says in an email,

“this is red meat to the media to find all ways to damage Google. I don’t know what would happen if the media starts picking up a theme that Google is secretly building AI weapons or AI technologies to enable weapons for the Defense industry,” [Fei-Fei Li]

She's like every fast talking Silicon Valley AI-researching corporate person, ever. Not some CCP sleeper agent. Concerned about her brand name against slurs by the ignorant and paranoid, more than a bit excessive with the 'AI' tag as if it is some secret sauce that makes everything more effective or fantastic.

It amuses me that a nation of gamers who crave ever more vicious computer adversaries could be so disassociated with reality they could fail to imagine some clever AI 'boss' on the screen could never be a drone you might come face to face with in real life. The coding is all done, folks! And YOU helped to play-test it.

When I was an ISP administrator I had plain text access to just about every mailbox in my city, and from time to time mail storms and mis-configurations in those days ('90s) required that bogus or spurious messages be removed from queue and storage. The necessary challenge then as it is now, was to build a script to do the necessary editing or extracting, such that the Administrator never even glimpses a bit of customer data. I was paid to do this but I took the concept as seriously as any mail carrier.

Well guess what people, Google has your plain text. You gave it to them and most of you don't even pay for anything at all, so the sense of entitlement I'm picking up is more like a socialist pitchfork mob than anything else. And I can see plainly that Google started out with every intention of preserving the ethical boundaries that I kept in the '90s ... to relegate the task of scanning sensitive data to scripts and the worshipped idol known as 'AI'.

'AI' would keep your data safe because it was smart enough to maintain it but yet too stupid to read what you were writing, over your shoulder.

Google probably scrubbed "Don't be evil" from its manifesto as a Canary warning rather than a license to go forth and do evil as goofy illuminati thinkers think. Why? Because Red-Blooded Americans sucked the dicks of Comey and Freeh and Brennan after 9/11 to give complete access of everything plain text to Spooks and Law Enforcement to 'keep us safe'. So when Obama and co. gorged themselves on surveillance of Trump like kids in a candy store, a diversion is needed. Yeah let's go after Big Tech who are just complying with the law.

China is a creepy place and it's great to take a stand but let's not smear everyone who has been involved with modern technology and draw stupid Joe McCarthy lines around them.

  • Do you recall after 9/11 ... a fracas where terrorists were supposedly using Webmail interfaces (protected by https) to leave one another Marching Orders Of Doom saved locally as email drafts... such that the evil content never traversed the Internet in plain text for our Good Spooks to intercept? Cue a flurry of back door warrant laws. A totally American initiative.
  • Do you recall that clever idea that Google could offer targeted advertising that was (oh so marginally) derivative of certain keywords in your email? We are not reading your mail, an 'AI' is doing that, and it has your best interests at heart. Because after all, you've demanded it be free forever and we're trying to figure out how to do that. A totally American initiative.
  • Do you recall how fuzzy matches and advanced algos started to bring down Youtube and other videos for copyright infringement? A purely American initiative to train AI to match more 'subversive' content than ever before, and transcribe everything besides.
  • And now Google is under fire for 'autocompletes' (not search results)? Helping Americans to spell out difficult words was always an American initiative.

SO if Google helps to build the Great Chinese Firewall, it's just a key-turn away from other initiatives they have been operating in plain sight, with our consent! Offering directed Ads for vintage car parts tp people who admit they own the car(s) in email ... is the exact same technology as the Chinese unmentioning of Falun Gong. Sorry Chinese readers for losing you, my whole post just disappeared!

Deep Content Inspection exists, now. It exists because it was inevitable. Google will try to monetize itself from it, China will try to lock down its populace with it. Those 'AI weapons' are just the AI reading over your shoulder and triggering actions. But who loads the keywords and the action routines? People. Just like the infantile Obama people, there are infantile radical political activists in tech companies.

So if Lei does anything evil at Twitter, you can be sure that it is probably a wholly American initiative by crazed political activists.

Oh and that Skynet bit about developing stuff for talking out humans and identifying friendlies, isn't that Biometrics turned on its ass? How many corporate shingles with Biometrics out there? Again, a key-turn away.

50 Cents. You don't think a top researcher is in the pocket of the CCP? They regularly threaten people's family to keep in them in line while abroad.

1
HocusLocus 1 point ago +1 / -0

Very good point. Seeing what is possible with just SJW shaming... what could you accomplish with a real threat? I've thought about this for anyone in any position of power, because it's just so cheap to threaten. I call it a Bill Hicks Moment.

Before the wide adoption of Perfect Forward Secrecy I was pretty much convinced that for all the main mail and service providers on the web, a series of threats would have gone out to those who maintain the SSL servers and/or their corporate overlords... and each would have provided a tiny thumb drive of secret private keys in use for HTTPS/SPOP/SIMAP servers to NSA or who ever wished to have them and was willing to give credible threat. If anyone had even been spooling encrypted traffic to storage unread for months or years, acquiring all those private keys would 'unlock' the whole trove at once.

Many people considered PFS the great thing since public/private key itself. I recognize it as the greatest blessing to human safety.
