This quote just wrinkled my brain and gave me a very sour thought at the same time, but I'm sure it would not be very well received.
I am well aware that this quote is made to show how programs like affirmative action and generational coddling for millennials and Gen Z are quite toxic.
On another level, I as a straight white man have felt attacked for my race and gender and sexuality for over a decade and that it wasn't being taken seriously by the mainstream. Could this quote also be applied to me as well? Am I getting shit on by myself? Or am I now just getting shit on as much as everyone has been getting shit on in the past.
Probably not, just saying this quote hit me there.

No, the opposite. My reaction to the quote was giving me a pause about this belief, though.
Edit: To clarify, I'm saying I felt more attacked than other groups, but was reflecting on if I'm just being attacked more than before, but not more than other groups.
